Oral alpha-glucosidase inhibitor for use in the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus, indicated as an adjunct to diet to lower blood glucose in patients whose hyperglycemia cannot be managed by diet alone.

Size: 
Tablet: 25mg, 50mg, 100mg.
Dosage: 
Recommended starting dosage: 25mg given orally three times daily at the start (with the first bite) of each main meal. Maintenance dose range: 50mg to 100mg.

Acarbose.
